Terms and Conditions of Business – ERR Chauffeur Hire Ltd
The following terms and conditions (“Terms”) are established to ensure a comprehensive understanding between “The Client” and “We/Our” ERR Chauffeur Hire Ltd in relation to any “Job” undertaken by ERR Chauffeur Hire Ltd and accepted by The Client. All jobs will be completed to the best of our ability within the specified timeframe.
Booking and Deposit:
- The client is required to book chauffeur services at least 24 hours in advance.
- A deposit of £5,000 is mandatory to secure a booking with ERR Chauffeur Hire Ltd.
- The deposit is fully refundable and will be returned to the client upon completion of the journey.
- In the event of cancellation, the deposit will be retained by ERR Chauffeur Hire Ltd to cover administrative costs and potential loss of business.
Limitation of Liability for Delays:
The company will not incur any liability or offer refunds in the event of any delay due to causes or circumstances beyond its control. Such instances include but are not limited to road closures, road accidents, police incidents, weather conditions, administrative errors, vehicle breakdowns, government acts, lockdowns, terrorism, war, disease, and any other unforeseen events. This list is not exhaustive.
Non-Appearance of the Customer:
If the customer does not appear at the time and place designated as the pickup point, all monies paid, including the deposit, will be non-refundable.
Driver’s Route Policy:
Unless instructed otherwise by the customer, the driver will follow the route considered most appropriate on the day of travel. Our chauffeurs will do their best to follow the best route, taking into account traffic conditions, road closures, and other factors affecting travel time.
Luggage Policy:
ERR Luxury Cars only allows the carriage of reasonable luggage in its vehicles, which can fit easily into the boot of the vehicle. Any excess luggage where boot space is full will not be carried.
Passenger Conduct:
The company reserves the right to refuse to carry in any of its vehicles any person who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and/or whose behaviour is considered to pose a threat to the chauffeur, the vehicle, or the other passenger(s).
Vehicle Policies:
ERR Chauffeur Hire Ltd maintains a strict non-smoking policy and non-eating policy in all of its vehicles.
Vehicle Damage Responsibility:
Clients are responsible for any damage they cause to the interior and/or exterior of a vehicle on hire to them and will be billed accordingly for any repair or valeting required to reinstate the vehicle to its condition before hire. The chauffeur will show the hirer and confirm the vehicle interior/exterior and its current state at the time of hire arrival if asked.
Changes or Variations to Journeys:
If there are any changes or variations, including extra mileage, to the journeys other than what was agreed at the time of booking, the client will be charged extras in accordance with the company pricing structure. Please ask for details.
